Duck Duck Goose

This is Duck Duck Goose, my submission for the Fireside Jam 2025! The theme for this jam was Hunt.  It is a 9 day jam, but I only used 3 of those days.

In this game, you are tasked with hunting a goose inside of a palace. You have to choose between normal mode and hunting mode. However, hunting mode you can't see. However, around the palace, you can find candles to ignite which you can see when hunting, and also help you track down your goose.

Controls

WASD or Arrow Keys  -  Movement

E or X  -  Switch Modes

Right Click or Z - Action

• In Normal Mode: Activate and Move Waypoints
• In Hunting Mode: Kill Anything Nearby

- How the candles work -

• You need to pick them up to activate them
• Once activated, when in hunting mode you are able to see them, so you have a sense of location
• And before the goose it killed, they point towards the location of the goose

All of the assets were made by me, apart from the font, which was a public domain font :).

Update: The font was actually Kiwi Soda by jeti. Not public domain like in the previous paragraph
